CARL Angel 5是一款長青商品，相信許多人小時候都用過這款削鉛筆機，或外型與它類似的削鉛筆機（因為Angel 5太有名了、以至於許多它牌產品會模仿這款外型）。
歷經多次改版，此次的CARL Angel-5 Grand 削鉛筆機，外殼採用雙倍厚度金屬製成、多重金屬塗層處理，具有穩重的沈穩感，賦予CARL Angel 5渾厚的紮實感，是一款真正兼具品質與環保的經典之作。

削鉛筆機的心臟－削筆刀組成，是決定削鉛筆機表現的一個重要組件，決定了削起來是否順暢、切削面乾淨平滑。此版採用日本製造的特殊鋼製削筆刀、全金屬齒輪結構。以往令人傷腦筋的筆夾構造，也換成塑膠夾設計，可防止咬出鉛筆痕。


它筆芯調整裝置為兩段式、可自行決定要削出什麼尖銳程度的鉛筆：細的約 0.5m，組的約 0.9mm。
此款筆尖形狀為直線型，適合粗的筆芯使用，如2B這種較軟的鉛筆筆芯很合適，還有色鉛筆也是適合這種直線型的筆尖形狀、另外不論是三角、圓形、六角形的鉛筆皆可削。

轉動下圖的旋鈕，可以切換筆尖尖銳程度，向右轉為粗，向左轉為細，另外此款的切換筆尖尖銳程度的旋鈕也改為金屬製，更為堅固。
注意：轉到底就是最粗或最細了，請勿再用力轉。
