焦糖色邊緣與灰白色顆粒釉面，散發出一種沉穩的氣息。
運用了『面取』技法，透過削去稜角的線條，讓器皿光影下有了立體表情，另外杯身的釉面並非純白，而是呈現出一種帶有微細顆粒感的灰釉。
釉面上分布著細小的黑色或褐色斑點，日文常稱為「砂目」或「胡麻」。這種效果通常是在釉料中刻意保留鐵份，或混合了木灰，在燒製過程中自然析出。

杯口邊緣與稜線交接處那圈深褐色的效果，稱為「淵錆」， 這是使用含鐵量極高的鐵釉（錆釉），在施主釉前或後，手工塗抹在杯緣，讓邊緣更有表情。
尺寸：9.3 x 9.5cm
