Apples are coated in a gently bitter caramel and baked until tender, concentrating their natural sweet-tart flavor. Once the cake is turned upside down, the caramel aroma naturally seeps into the cake, adding a subtle bittersweet depth to every bite.

This time, we’ve intentionally left out the cinnamon, allowing the apple’s fresh, bright fruitiness to shine alongside the gentle bitterness of the caramel. The result is a clean, balanced flavor that feels light rather than heavy.
