使用專利抗菌塗料作為鉛筆的外觀塗裝，能減少細菌病毒附著在表面上。這款塗料是由東京工業大學與慶應義塾大學共同開發，在研究測試中發現，60分鐘以後鉛筆表面的病毒量減少了99%，24小時之後則減少達99.9%。此塗料無經口毒性、也不會對皮膚產生刺激，使用上與一般鉛筆相同。


由於只有塗裝部分具有減少細菌病毒附著效果，削去塗層而外露的木材部分就無此效果，使用時握住木材部分即有保持抗菌效果。硬度為HB，日本製造。
外表以衛生、清潔的水藍色替代原本9800鉛筆的經典黑綠色，刷新原本的印象！
