只用了單面的影印紙要怎麼利用？除了拿反面來印之外，有許多人會把它製作成整本的便條紙或當成計算紙，很有環保概念。而不少人在製作本子的時候曾想過以騎馬釘的方式來裝訂，但是一般的釘書機無法裝訂騎馬釘，必須使用特製的釘書機才行，而這類釘書機不只難買、價格也比較貴，重點是還要在家裡放一台不算小、久久才用一次的釘書機。而這把「騎馬釘多功能尺」解決這些問題，讓裝訂工作變得輕鬆。而且還有放大鏡、曲線尺、甚至還是圓規，具有多種功能。

騎馬釘多功能尺也是一項曾經在文具病部落格上介紹過的好文具（請參閱043：它說，我立志要當釘書機的好朋友）。它的使用方式非常簡單，只有三個步驟：
