對於第一次使用自動鉛筆的孩童來說，較難控製筆的壓力，一般0.5mm對他們而言，經常寫寫就斷芯，或是對於手勁較大的人也是。

1.3mm的筆芯粗細，即使用力書寫也較不易斷裂，雖然筆徑較粗但正常握姿時會有點角度，所以也不太會太粗，反而有很人會覺得這個粗細寫起來很輕鬆。

除了一般書寫用途外，粗筆芯對於製圖方面也是優點多多，除了紙張外，也可在木頭等材質上書寫，繪畫草圖隨手速記，一筆解決。

它握位長的很像經典的Pentel Smash，也是顆粒狀，這個設計也許已成為Pentel 設計的標誌了，而其它部分則長得

搭配具有彈性的矽膠材質，顆粒狀增加摩擦力，握感牢固且舒適，共6色，從孩童到大人都可根據自己的個性和風格進行選擇。
